The pools are nice and the live music at Ocean Annie's is a blast. Room cleanliness was lacking; found dirt and hair. Easy beach access is a plus. Parking can be a hassle during peak times.

The direct ocean view balcony was a treat, and the live music by the pool added a fun vibe. the room was a letdown-nothing like the pictures, with dated decor and a frustratingly small layout. Check-in was rough, with rude staff and unclear info about amenities. Luggage assistance felt more like a tip trap. The pools were lovely, but the indoor area was uninvitingly dirty, and parking was a nightmare. Comfy beds helped a bit, but a full coffee maker would have made mornings much better. A mixed bag, but there's potential here.

I loved the convenient location of this hotel, just steps away from the beach. The staff, aside from a few front desk attendants, were friendly and welcoming. The evening entertainment on the property was enjoyable and added a fun touch to the stay.

The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired, as we encountered bedbugs and dirty bedding. The front desk staff were unhelpful and rude when addressing these issues, making the experience even more disappointing.

The beach access is a dream! The indoor and outdoor pools keep the fun flowing with hot tubs and live music every day.

The room decor seriously needs a makeover.

Our stay was fantastic with beachfront access making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf, plus places like the Apache Pier only a short walk away at around 2 km; we really loved the daily live bands playing just outside our door that enhanced our evenings by the pool, and the friendly staff made our experience even better with accommodating services and comfy rooms equipped with handy kitchen facilities for breakfast prep, but we did find some items in the room needed a bit of maintenance attention.

The room we were initially assigned, rm, was not up to par. It definitely needed some updating - the beds were uncomfortable, and the linens seemed a bit worn out. We requested a room change, and fortunately, we were able to move to a slightly better room the next day. One thing that stood out to me was the lack of room service during our week-long stay. We only had room cleaning done three times, and we had to request for towels, Kleenex, and toilet paper multiple times at the front desk. It felt like a bit of a hassle to keep asking for basic amenities. The cleanliness of the room was average. There were some inappropriate drawings on the bathroom mirror that couldn't be removed, which was quite off-putting. The air conditioning unit in the room was old and struggled to keep the room cool, making our stay a bit uncomfortable at times. the soundproofing wasn't the best, as we could hear noise from the neighboring room throughout our stay. the staff at the front desk were mostly friendly and helpful, except for one individual who was a bit less accommodating. Sands Ocean Club has potential, but there are definitely areas that could use some improvement, such as the room cleanliness, maintenance of amenities, and overall comfort of the accommodations. During our stay, the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Carlos, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The beds were comfortable, and the location right on the beach was perfect. The resort had everything we needed, from a pool to a game room, and was close to great food and entertainment. We were impressed by the level of service and the efforts made to accommodate our needs.

The lack of air conditioning in the halls and elevators made for uncomfortable trips to and from our room.

Additionally, the free Sunday through Thursday lunch at Ocean Annie's Beach Bar was a delightful bonus, offering delicious American cuisine that added to the wonderful experience.

the staff was so friendly and made us feel welcome. the view from our room was amazing, and the location was close to the nice beach area. we stayed there with our family and kids, and it was a great place for them. the service men were sweet and helpful - which made a difference.
